The Red Bull family has signed 3 drivers for the upcoming season of F1 Academy. Hamda Al Qubaisi and Emely De Heus will race under the Red Bull name, whilst Amna Al Quabaisi will race under Visa CashApp RB. All three are racing for MP Motorsport.

🚨 BREAKING: F1 rejects Andretti bid to enter F1 in 2025 or 2026
Following an expression of interest from prospective entrants, the FIA was satisfied that Andretti met the technical requirements to sustain an entry.
This meant that the only remaining step was for Andretti required a commercial deal sorted with F1’s owner Liberty Media, as in the Concorde Agreement.
However today, a statement was published revealing that F1 has concluded Andretti has failed to obtain a spot on the grid for 2025/2026.
The statement reads: “Our assessment process has established that the presence of an 11th team would not, on its own, provide value to the championship. The most significant way in which a new entrant would bring value is by being competitive. We do not believe that the applicant would be a competitive participant.”
It adds: “The addition of an 11th team would place an operational burden on race promoters, would subject some of them to significant costs, and would reduce the technical, operational and commercial spaces of the other competitors”.

All Formula 1 teams have complied with the £112m ($140m) cost cap in 2022, and have all been issued certificates of compliance.

In case of an emergency for Red Bull, Liam Lawson is still under contract as a Red Bull reserve, so he would be moved to Red Bull. Isack Hadjar would make the jump to F1 with AlphaTauri to replace Liam.
AT have used 4 drivers but they can apply for a 'Force Majeure' to run a 5th driver if the situation requires.

The FIA has unveiled the F2 2024 car in the Formula 1 paddock in Monza today (31st August).
The new design philosophy will mirror the 2022 spec of F1 cars, with the nose, front and rear wings and floor have been designed to encourage more wheel-to-wheel racing and closer overtakes.
The next gen car will accommodate a wider range of sizes of drivers to improve accessibility, including female drivers.
Former F2 driver Tatiana Calderon has a successful shakedown session in the car at Varano last July, ahead of one car being delivered to teams before the end of December 2023.

During the early stage of FP2, Daniel crashed into the barriers at Turn 3, breaking a metacarpal in his left hand.
As such Red Bull and AlphaTauri reserve driver Liam Lawson will replace him for the weekend, making his F1 debut in the process. He becomes the 10th New Zealander to race in F1.
Sam Bird joins the McLaren Formula E team for the 2023-2024 season, replacing Rene Rast, who leaves to focus on his WEC commitments.
