Chenzee Mae Inopia and Liezie Rose Z. Beronia smashed the competition and snatched the gold medal with skill and determination for the CET Departmentโ€™s womenโ€™s doubles badminton team held on November 04, 2025 at Tuna Smashers.

The to the victory was filled with difficulties but through their exceptional skill, determination, and most importantly, coordination and the power of teamwork, these two athletes mastered every rally and delivered a stunning performance that secured the gold medal. Indeed, teamwork is not just a concept but the driving force behind their victory.

The art of chess is a silent battle of minds and strategy, and once again, The College of Engineering and Technology has proven its mastery by capturing the gold medal in both the men's and women's categories of the Palaro 2025 Chess Tournament. The path to victory was not easy; it was full of sacrifices. Each pawn sacrificed one after another, each knight galloped forward, each rook stood firm in guarding lines, each bishop swept with threat diagonally, each queen attacked boldly across the board, and the king held steady, holding the last line of defense in the swirling game, all to reach a checkmate.

The game was quite intense, with the scores incredibly close throughout the tournament. According to one of the players, the CET team did not initially expect to win. However, thanks to the brilliant minds of the players who showcased their skills, they shifted the pieces in their favor and outmaneuvered the game plan, ultimately securing victory for both categories.
The CET family is honored to have such brilliant minds and is looking forward to more victories in the future.
