𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙢𝙖𝙨 𝙞𝙨 𝙈𝙚𝙧𝙧𝙮 𝙖𝙨 𝙋𝙖𝙨𝙠𝙪𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙨𝙖 𝙍𝙈𝙈𝘾 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙆𝙞𝙘𝙠𝙨 𝙊𝙛𝙛.

Truly, the Holiday Season has arrived as Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges officially welcomes the Month of Giving through its yearly inaugurated "Paskuhan sa RMMC", today, December 6, 2024.

With the theme "Graceful Hearts, United Spirits: Celebrating a Season of Joy". This year marks the 64th Founding Anniversary of Ramon Magsaysay since 1960.

Furthermore, the event, led by host Mr. Jest Salubre, LPT, commenced with a FunRun activity, wherein students of RMMC gladly participated.

Along with that, the Institution made efforts to secure the event through the collective guidance of City Police as well as the Criminology Interns of the College.

The activity was then followed by a gruelling Zumba workout led by two dance instructors, together with the students from each college.

With festivities ahead, the morning concluded with the Thanksgiving Mass open to all RMMC students.

Paskuhan Sa RMMC is an annual event of the institution, which is comprised of a series of events. This year's celebration will be held from December 6 until December 20.

Congratulations to our PICE delegates!

Out of 21 colleges and universities, our PICE-RMMC Chapter proudly secured 5th place for the Bridge-building category at the 23rd National Civil Engineering Students' Conference, held at SMX Convention Center, Pasay City, last November 15-16, 2024.

Representing our institution, PICE-RMMC delegates Maite Caspillo, Yhanie Hinay, Kristine Espalabra, Maricel Maitel, and Sharifa May Basa, through their adept knowledge at bridge making, made a remarkable achievement by securing 5th place.

With that, a heartfelt congratulations to the PICE-RMMC delegates who proudly strutted their way in the 23rd National Civil Engineering Students Conference.

This achievement serves as a testament to the collective hard work and dedication of the students and faculty's pursuit of academic excellence.

Civil Engineering students of Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges showcased their skills and talents at the conference held at SMX, Pasay City on November 15-16, 2024. The quizzer participant Kent Vincent Salac represented the team, while the Bridge Making team includes:

𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒘𝒊𝒅𝒆 𝑺𝒊𝒎𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒆𝒐𝒖𝒔 𝑬𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒉𝒒𝒖𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝑫𝒓𝒊𝒍𝒍 (𝑵𝑺𝑬𝑫 2024)

On November 14, 2024, the RMMC community came together to participate in the 4th Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill. This initiative, led by the RMMC Safety & Health Department in coordination with the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Service, allowed students, faculty, and staff to rehearse safety protocols and procedures in the event of an earthquake. This drill was part of our ongoing commitment to fostering a culture of preparedness and safety across our campus.

Immediately following the earthquake drill, held a Fire Safety and Fire Fighting Awareness Program. This program provided the participants with necessary knowledge and hands-on practice in fire prevention and effective response to potential fire hazards. This combined initiative was designed to equip our community with the skills needed to face different types of emergencies with confidence and composure.

𝙍𝙈𝙈𝘾- 𝘾𝙀 𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙍𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙚𝙬 𝙄𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙌𝙪𝙞𝙯 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙧

To test their knowledge and brilliance, the Civil Engineering students of Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges traveled from General Santos City all the way to Cagayan de Oro to participate in the Quiz competition hosted by Review Innovations, held last November 9, 2024.

This event was staged by Review Innovation at University of Science & Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) Cagayan Campus as part of their initiative to cultivate the future Civil Engineers of the country, along with it, they offered a seminar for the non-participants of the quiz competition wherein they talked about Seismic Detailing as well as gave techniques that the CE students could use to ace the Civil Engineering Licensure Exam.

In the quiz bowl competition, comprised of two teams from RMMC. The Team A, namely; Tegie Calugada, Kent Vincent Salac, and Jhon Paul Mones, managed to qualify on TOP 8 Grand Finalists out of 28 participating teams in Mindanao.

The hailed winner for this event were the CE students of North Eastern Mindanao State University- Tandag Campus.

"𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙎𝙖𝙛𝙚𝙩𝙮: 𝙋𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙀𝙣𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙚𝙧'𝙨 𝙎𝙖𝙛𝙚𝙩𝙮"

A seminar intended for the 4th-year Civil Engineering students of Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges was held on November 06, 2024 filled with insightful and fruitful discussions. The event brought together tackling over Most Common Construction Injuries, Common Reasons for Accident, Unsafe Act, Hierarchy of Controls, alongside Engr. Sean Davvin Salvaloza opening up the topic of safety officer, industry experts, construction professionals and enhancing worker safety on construction sites.

The presentations helped us to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world practices, preparing them for their future roles as civil engineers. They also gained practical knowledge and skills, which will allow them to create safer work environments and better understand their responsibilities in the construction industry.

The Faculty of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges (RMMC) recently participated in the 50th National Convention and 2nd International Engineering Expo held at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City from October 29-31, 2024. This three-day event provided valuable insights into the latest advancements in engineering and offered excellent networking opportunities for faculty members.

RMMC Alumna, Engr. Mikee Dulay showcased her RMMC Home of the Best singing prowess during the National Convention. The BSCE Faculty will be always grateful to the support of the institution, specifically the administration for this opportunity to grasps knowledge to develop the engineering expertise of the faculty . Together, we are committed to shaping the future of engineering education and practice.

Competing along with the country's brightest minds in the field of engineering by no means is already remarkable. Today, the BS in Civil Engineering students of Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges (RMMC) did just that by competing at the MIDAS Philippine's annual Academic Festival, which took hold at Century Park Hotel in Malate, Manila, October 28, 2024.
With the theme "Engineering Extravaganza of Rising Structural Innovators", various institutions from the whole country competed for the prized accolade granted by MIDAS Philippines Organization.

Having said, the event lasted for a whole day is no mere just about a competition, but is also an initiative for Progress and Innovation in pursuit of greater excellence in the field of Engineering of the country's society of budding civil engineers.
Representing the RMMC-institution, Five Civil Engineering students took part in the following events: Quiz Bee, Speed Modelling and Bridge Building.

Look: RMMC GENSAN PARTICIPATES THE MIDAS ACADEMIC FESTIVAL 2024

RMMC BSCE Students participates the annual MIDAS Academic Festival held at Century Hotel, Manila with a theme Engineering Extravaganza of Rising Structural Innovators October 28, 2024.

Despite the agony brought by storm Kristine which prompt the rescheduling of the event which is supposed to be held last October 25, 2024 in the same venue, the RMMC is very enthusiastic and greatful to experience this Academic Festival. MIDAS handling the situation is indeed commendable and made sure the participants and coach are safe and thus, at their comfortable places.

Bringing recognition to Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges-Gensan, MS. Girlie Embalsado, a civil engineering student, has made an outstanding achievement by securing a spot for the upcoming Regional Statistics Quiz. She will represent SARGEN alongside students from Mindanao State University-Gensan (MSU), Notre Dame of Dadiangas University (NDDU), Brokenshire College Socsksargen, and General Santos Doctor's Medical School Foundation.

The quiz will take place on November 07, 2024 at Koronadal City, where students' knowledge with statistics will be tested. This event is an opportunity for young minds to demonstrate their understanding and showcase their skills in a challenging environment. Ms. Embalsado's hardwork, dedication, and passion for learning drove her to this accomplishment. She embodies the spirit of excellence we strive for at RMMC. Her participation not only highlights her knowledge and skills, but also serves as an inspiration to other students, encouraging them to pursue their academic goals with confidence.

𝑰𝒕'𝒔 𝒂 𝒘𝒓𝒂𝒑--- 2𝒏𝒅 𝑹𝑼𝑵𝑵𝑬𝑹-𝑼𝑷!

Fueled by determination, passion, and an unwavering drive to give their absolute best, our CET participants/players showcased exceptional skills as they proudly represented our college across various events. From Sports, and academics, to socio-cultural events. The collective hard work and dedication paid off as our college secured an impressive overall 2nd runner-up finish in this year’s PALARO.

This achievement would not have been possible without the support of numerous individuals, from the Dean of CET, Ma'am Ethel L. Oczon, MSIS, to the coordinator of the program of Engineering, Engr. Mark Lehi P. Palmes, along with the DSC officers, staffs, event facilitators, and the entire CET community. This win belongs to all of you.

Kudos especially to all the CET participants who gave their all in representing our college in each events. While some have failed to climb the peak and clinch the golden award, and others have managed to claim the championed title. Despite that, it is all the more the reason to be better and strive even higher next time.

It's been an unforgettable PALARO, and we look forward to an even better one next time!

In the realm of college sports, every team strives for greatness, and while victory is a sweet goal, there’s much to celebrate in the pursuit itself. This Palaro 2024, the College of Engineering and Technology, have shown exceptional grit and determination, proving that success comes in many forms. These athletes have poured their hearts into their sport, balancing demanding schedules filled with both academic responsibilities and athletic commitments. Their journey has been filled with challenges, from intense training sessions to nail-biting competitions. They have demonstrated not only athletic skill, but also the ability to rise to the occasion under pressure. They motivate their teammates, uplift their peers, and set an example for future athletes. Their spirit of sportsmanship and resilience will continue to inspire fellow students and future generations.

𝘽𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙚𝙨: 𝙋𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙧𝙤 2024 𝙍𝙖𝙣𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨

Packed with thrilling moments, unforgettable events, and the nonstop "hiyawans" of our collegiate students as they support our participants. This year's PALARO has come to an end. With that, the overall results just came out, standing at the top of the leaderboard is the College of Criminal Justice (Blackhawk) who gained an astounding number of 154 golds followed by the College of Teacher Education (Mentors) who captured a total of 105 golds earning the title of 1st runner-up.

Furthermore, the College of Engineering and Technology ( Growling Tigers) managed to place for overall 2nd runner-up garnering up to 76 golds. Trailing the rankings is the College of Business Education (Golden Lions) with 47 golds. Meanwhile, the College of Arts and Sciences (Green Falcons) with their 42 golds, and the newly founded College of Allied Health and Sciences (White Eagles) with 10 golds.

Janna's victory not only highlights her individual skills but also underscores the potential of combining art with technology, inspiring her peers as she ignites the pride of College of Engineering and Technology! Her achievement is a testament to her dedication, hard work, and passion for both computer science and the arts.

Three consecutive years, the untouchable duo Cris Xander Amador and Zedrick Guiveces is reliable in getting smooth winnings against different rivals. In history, last 2022 the dynamic duo won the championship. In 2023, Guiveces dominates the entire game. Now, Amador reigns toughest aiming skills to claim the throne. Standing in the top, after a hard-fought battle, is the moment we never forget. Their championships is a testament to the countless hours of practice, endless determination, unwavering support of their team. Every match, every throw and every win, it duels with skills and determination to prevail the heart of the champion!

With quickness and precision, the Table tennis PALARO players of our college bagged 2 Golds, 1 Silver, and 2 Bronze. Albeit the competition being fierce, through their relentless focus and determination as well as their lightning fast rallies and perfectly timed movements, they managed to triumph over their opponents and clinch the victory.
