একটি টাকি মাছ। দেখতে টাকি মাছের মতোই। এত বড় টাকি মাছ দেখতে ভিড় জমায় স্থানীয় লোকজন। তবে মৎস্য কর্মকর্তা বলছেন, দেখে টাকি মনে হলেও এটি শোল বা গজার মাছের শংকর হতে পারে।

নলামারা গ্রামে। আজ শুক্রবার এক টি বড় টাকি মাছের দেখা মেলে। মাছ বিক্রেতা আজিত বিশ্বাস
ও অনন্ত বিশ্বাস।

প্রশান্ত বিশ্বাস এর ভাষ্য, খুব সকালে তেরে খাদা উপজেলার নলামারার বিল থেকে দেশীয় প্রজাতির মাছ নিয়ে আসেন স্থানীয় দুই মাছ চাষি। অনন্ত বিশ্বাস ১ হাজার ৩০০ টাকা দিয়ে মাছ কিনে নেন।

নলামারা গ্রামের ওই মাছ বিক্রেতার বরাত দিয়ে জানান, এগুলো চাষের মাছ না। প্রাথমিকভাবে ধারণা করছেন, অনেক দিন ধরে ওই বিলেই মাছগুলো ছিল, ছোট মাছ খেয়ে এত বড় হয়েছে। টাকি মাছের ওজন ছিল ৫০০ গ্রাম।

অনন্ত বিশ্বাস ওই টাকি মাছ কিনে নেন। বলেন, এত বড় টাকি মাছের দেখা সহজে মেলে না। তিনি এক ওই মাছ টি কেনেন। মাছ টির ওজন ছিল ৫০০ গ্রাম।অনন্ত বিশ্বাস বলেন, ‘শখের তোলা ৮০ টাকা! তাই একটি মাছ কিনে নিলাম।’

তেরেখাদা উপজেলা সরকারী মৎস্য কর্মকর্তা প্রশান্তর ভাষ্য, দেশীয় প্রজাতির এত বড় টাকি মাছের দেখা মেলে না। এমন হতে পারে, বিলে দীর্ঘদিন ধরে এই মাছ ছিল, সহজে ধরা পড়েনি। ছোট মাছ খেয়ে এত বড় হতে পারে।

তেরেখাদা উপজেলা সরকারী মৎস্য কর্মকর্তা প্রশান্তর ভাষ্য, দুপুরে মুঠোফোনে প্রথম আলোকে বলেন, দেশীয় প্রজাতির টাকি মাছ এত বড় হয় না। সর্বোচ্চ ১৫০ থেকে ২০০ গ্রাম হতে পারে। এত বেশি ওজনের টাকির কথা শোনেনি। মাছের ছবিটি দেখার পর বলেন, দেখে মনে হচ্ছে এটা অরিজিনাল টাকি মাছ। এত বড় টাকি আমি জীবনেও দেখিনি। এমন হতে পারে, শোল বা গজার মাছের সঙ্গে ক্রস হয়েছে। আরও খোঁজখবর নিতে হবে।
