A couple of tools I use daily. One is a work in progress picking up a new one soon. I did all the gun smithing myself. Another hobby of mine. Out of all the hobbies I have been doing gunsmithing the longest.

I have a production shoot this weekend. And didn’t have a rig for the camera. So I decided to print as much as I can to do a mini rig the can go hand held to tripod. Don’t know why I didn’t think about this before. If the rig works out. I might build it completely out. I was almost out of filament need to order more. So I got red gold and black prints. But for a quick setup I’m not complaining. .

So I have this production shoot for the real world job I have. I will be running a micro studio camera for the video and a canon t7i for the photos. I wanted to build a rig for the BMD studio camera. So I can add a shotgun mic and BMD video assist for hand held recording. So I’m printing up a sun visor for the video assist. And a rig cage for the studio camera. It’s been a while since I have fun combing work with a hobby and video production.

Finishing up a Star Wars theme chess set. Came out better than I thought. files. Was thinking of print and paint. Then we ran across this chess board. And we thought why not use resin. So clear and Smokey black water washable from and it turn out amazing. For me some of the best rest out there.

So some of the supports failed. So I made a bridge to support the supports lol. Well it works. And looks like just the right time.

So I got very lucky to get into Hell’s Kitchen. We sat at the bar. Awesome experience amazing food. Only thing missing was a couple of people I would have loved to share this experience with.

Another helmet printed. This is the square enix Boba Fett. Love it. Sorry can’t remember where or who I bought the file from it was a few years back. It printed fairly good. I had small issues with the supports. Tried a new way. It worked ok. But going back to what works for me. Printed using a sovol sv06 plus.

I had some these small rolls of pla that came with my sovol printer. So I decided to print up a Spyro the dragon from I got a few years back. Just a fun test never printed anything like this where it articulates this is where I can see a multi-color printer would be cool. For now I will go old school and paint it. Or give it to my sister the real artist to paint. It is hers.

Helldivers B-08 helmet done. File from Really clean print I have the small vent to do in the front. I put it on the resin printer. And got to create the visor. I used a SV06 printer two of them. All using pla plus. on to the next project. One for me a boba fett helmet. I never make helmets for myself.

Just set up the new sovol 6plus. It was so easy, quick, and smooth. This one is set up at my work until I can make more room. Already have another Helldivers helmet going. This time it’s the scouts helm. File from make sure to check their work out.

Fun little project the purple guitar. Well it’s almost time to turn it over to the guitar builder. This one going to hurt to see it go. But if it works I get to see it played often.

file print is almost done. Just need the small parts. It will be in resin. What a great file. The print turned out great. The sovol 6+ is an amazing printer. The ender 3 helped on two parts total workhorse. No failed prints at all. I used pla+ and used tactape 100 mile tape to hold it together for the photos. Next it will be sand to fit and paint. Overall very excited for the print. Boys we have some finish work to do.

A few projects came out awesome. Backside of the Helldivers helmet. A resin print on the anycubic photon of a Star Wars chess piece. Also have the strat guitar I printed up on my ender3. New sovol printer is great. It’s fast and rock solid.

While I still have some reprints to do. It’s coming out great. On a sad note. One of my FDM printers had a good long life. I got this file off . My guitar builder said that we have enough prints to check parts and see how they fit. Neck being the most important. Then an another round of test prints and finally the final print.

It’s getting closer. This Superman is big. Taking my time. Checking the fit. Have to fill in the gaps and then retouch the paint. Just printed the cape and started painting the head.

Been slowly working on several projects. I have a few more either in que or printing. Just got the supplies to start a full-size clone trooper armor going to print in ABS plastic to be more heat resistant then resin.
