Anthem

To be honest, I tried to love Anthem until the very end. Firstly, this is a BioWare game, the projects of which I have always treated with special love, twice passing even the frankly average Mass Effect: Andromeda by the standards of the studio. Secondly, in Anthem, the developers tried to bring to mind the genre of online co-op shooters that I love, popularized not so long ago by Destiny and The Division.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne - fantastic winter hunting

The first major update to the hunting simulator Monster Hunter World is exactly what fans of the series are used to - it is designed exclusively for high-level characters and offers them a lot of interesting activities. World is the franchise's most successful game to date, and Iceborn is on par with the base game in terms of content quality and quantity.

Children of Morta

Children of Morta is a pixel-based diablo-like journey through a variety of procedurally generated dungeons, where the most interesting thing is the plot, the development of the story, and getting to know the characters. For the genre, the situation is unusual: usually, the authors try to attract attention with outlandish graphics, unexpected decisions on balance, gameplay in general, or character classes. Here, everything is somehow simpler. The voice-over patiently recounts the history of the Bergson family as the player moves towards the goal, whether the next dungeon is successful or not. It’s like a radio against the background of monotonous work - it doesn’t seem to be distracting, but as a result, you can’t remember anything but it.
