It genuinely pleases me to see artists I've worked with grow and get involved with prestigious labels like this. Sometimes things in the underground can take time, especially when a label had to relocate to Georgia and then ship out via Kazakhstan across to England, but here we are, finally all of the following Satanath Records titles are available here in the UK.

First and foremost is our co-release of WARDRA - Warden of the Stellar Crypts; a dark, melodic and almost doomy approach to cosmic black metal. Now shipping as a digipack or jewelcase CD and available digitally.

One of the best and most hard working music writers in our weird little world presents his best albums of this decade (so far). Featuring an honorable mention to Ekdikēsis, Sea Mosquito at number 70, and Grey Aura at number 26! I can highly recommend checking anything else on the list you're not already familiar with, as they're almost certainly top tier.

Today marks 4 years since the very first Onism Productions release. To honour this occasion we are offering a massive 40% off all releases and distro until midnight on Sunday 23rd. Just use the code "outsiderart" on either the Bandcamp or main website.

To give an update on other matters; the last year has possibly been the most difficult of the label's existence, but perseverance is key, and direct interaction with people who have discovered great music via Onism keeps the spirit alive. Behind the scenes we have finished completely cutting ties with a previous manufacturer, which has also meant all old stock arriving back here and filling every inch of free space, so do please take advantage of the sale.

For those waiting for physical edition of the Wardra album, I can only offer apologies and pass on information from the other label handling the production side of this, the delays are truly unreasonable but they will ship eventually.

Soon enough we will unveil our next release, a debut album and tape by a new project from whom you can expect the best of underground black metal. Following that there are interesting things in the future, and we are always open to submissions too.

Botgörelsen, Wrekan and Astral Lore come together to release a three-way split album of Austerity, Despondency & Longing. Raw and bleak black metal from the underground. Limited black-backed digipack CD via Onism Productions, with a tape release at .

Some may be familiar with Botgörelsen already through their debut album which was released previously on Onism, and you can expect more of that Swedish sound here, with the two tracks expanding further on their emotional and folkloric approach.

Wrekan is also a one-man project from Sweden, and inject something harsher and more anti-life into the split. Whilst the international project of Astral Lore present a single 17-minute long song of sprawling intensity and dark atmosphere to close off this black metal triarchy.

Things have been a little quiet lately in the world of Onism, mostly because of various life-related happenings taking up time, but one of those has at least been musical in nature. For those that aren't aware, last year I joined the English doom-laden atmospheric black metal band Cistvaen - and last month the debut album has been released. This is *not* an Onism Productions release, but inevitably I have copies and am helping with certain logistical matters, so as of today I have added the double-LP colored vinyl and the digipack CD editions of "At Light's Demise" to the online shop, should anyone wish to order copies alongside any Onism releases or distro items and combine the postage costs.

I am gradually catching up with label matters, and there will be at least two exciting releases from the underground to announce shortly, and as always further things are developing behind the scenes for unknown times in the future.

OUT NOW - "Warden Of The Stellar Crypts" by Wardra.

The WARDRA project, originally formed as a duo, was the embodiment of the ideas of traditional black metal with an emphasis on primitive mysticism. Further transformation led to the emergence of the main creative backbone of the project and its consolidation in the trio format: W and B – responsible for the musical component; K – for the meaning and the voice that conveys it.

Having moved further away from their roots, WARDRA decided to go into the endless darkness of space, adding an atmosphere of dark melodicism to the music and expanding the stylistic scope of their work. This lead to «Страж звёздных склепов» («Warden Of The Stellar Crypts»). This is a story about the death of worlds on the endless fields of nuclear harvest and about a silent witness who will endlessly wander through the fragments of time, waiting for the beginning of a new world that writhes in endless convulsions of sleep, without hope of awakening. Musically, the album flows from high-speed traditional black metal into the dark melodicism of atmospheric metal with notes of melancholic doom metal, periodically flaring up with the fire of raw anger.

Available digitally and on either jewelcase or digipack CD format. This is a co-release with Aleksey Korolyov of Satanath Records and the CDs are on their way to us now and so any orders should be shipping soon!

OUT NOW! Morvigor - De spiegel

Morvigor embody expressive black metal, their elongated missives are propelled forward with an energy that makes their unorthodox approach feel visceral and vital. Mixing both clean and harsh vocals, abrasive sounds and more mellow, ambient passages, the band invite us to join them on a journey that willfully wanders off the beaten track. The scope of their music veers towards the cinematic as they sweep through progressive and post-metal territory, while the embrace of blistering black metal is rarely far from sight.
