Last but not least, Kasey Faur is a journalism and English major and is minoring in Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies. She’s graduating in May and is excited to publish this ‘zine as her final project in the WGSS program. In her free time she enjoys writing, reading and a good cup of chai tea.

Alex is a student of philosophy and women’s, gender, and s*xuality studies at the University and will be graduating in the spring. Before arriving in Missoula to complete her degree, she studied in Minneapolis, Charleston, Los Angeles, and Glasgow, Scotland. Her ambition is to return to the U.K. following graduation to pursue graduate research in the nature of consent and the ethics of s*x work.

She will be sharing some of her present research that looks at 'les femmes tondues'-- French women accused of having s*xual relationships with German soldiers during the N**i occupation of France who subsequently had their heads shaved. She will also be sharing work by a Montanan artist who uses embroidery and textile arts to explore trauma healing.

Hope you’re all staying safe and healthy! Even with the change to online courses, we are still putting out the zine! Meet another person on our team:
JoAnn is a journalism major minoring in media arts and women’s, gender and s*xuality studies. Her main article will focus on BYU (Brigham Young University) and the current issues involving the Honor Code and same s*x relationships and interactions. She will also be putting together a small list of other feminist and LGBTQ+ magazines. She is excited to use skills from her major and minors collectively in creating this zine.

Hi i'm Emmett,
I am a History major and a Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies minor. I am very interested in exploring how notions of gender and s*xuality have changed over time. I am working on an article investigating gendered fashion history, and am excited to share my findings in our zine!
