Practice starts for me tomorrow and goes through Friday at 4. Will most likely be on & off the lake dodging weather. Weekend brings a cold front, but dryer & hopefully safer conditions.

Hey folks! I promise I haven’t forgotten about this webcast. 2022 has been the busiest year I’ve ever experienced with my job, and things elsewhere have been wild, too.

Look for Episode number 30 coming soon. I’ll recap the five tournaments I’ve fished since the last episode on April 15th.

Going live around 3pm today to talk Chattahoochee top-to-bottom. I’ll have tournament angler & PSKA board member Nick Dyer, and tournament angler Dylan Lowery as guests.

We’ll review Dylan’s top 3 finish in the Dugout Winter Series Championship back in January, and his win on Eufaula at the Georgia BASS Nation Kayak Anglers season opener.

Then we’ll talk with Nick about his win on Lake Seminole at the PSKA opener, and maybe a bit about a possible threat to a special west Georgia shoal bass fishery.

Lastly, we’ll shift focus back to Lanier for this coming weekend’s PSKA/GBN joint event.

It’s about time I recorded Episode 18, and it’ll be a go later tonight! Lots to go over since the last one on September 18.

We WILL have a fantasy draft of the best funny movies and will need 2 participants.

Episode 17 is coming together.

In one feature topic, we’ll be drawing a parallel between two similar controversies - one in hunting and one in fishing.

Last month, professional bass angler Randy Blaukat stirred up some healthy discussion when discussing advanced electronic technology in competitive fishing possibly going too far, and taking the magic & mystique out of fishing.

Not much later, a joint statement from the Pope & Young and Boone & Crockett clubs said bucks harvested with the help of cellular trail cameras would not be eligible for their scoring because it provides real-time information and violates their fair chase standards.

Does technology take the sport out of the sport? I don’t think so, but apparently a lot of people don’t agree.

We’ll have tournament recaps & results, sports talk, music and more, just like normal.

Looking like I’ll do this one in the next couple of days while we’re stuck inside waiting on Tropical Storm Sally to get out of here...Thoughts and prayers out to the Pensacola, Orange Beach and Perdido Key areas. And Save the Flora-Bama!

I had planned to go live at some point while I was up in Pennsylvania for the Susquehanna tournament. But I really don’t feel like going live until I can collect my thoughts on what happened and didn’t happen over the weekend. Hopefully I will get it together this week and do a recap. Bracing myself now for the 11 hour drive home. i’m blessed to be able to do this even though the results aren’t always what I expect.

Pro angler Aaron Martens is having surgery to remove a brain tumor tomorrow. Of course, his family cannot be with him during his stay at the hospital. Prayers up for him during a tough time.

Who’s ready for another fantasy draft?!? It’s been a few weeks since Ian Haynes dominated in the fast food restaurant draft. In episode 6, we'll have our two competitors drafting a fantasy candy bar team.
