five and a half thousand Santa Claus and elves staged a race through the streets of the Spanish capital. The charity event, the funds from which will be transferred to the Red Cross, was organized by the large retail chain El Corte Inglés. And it has already passed for the tenth time.
Catholic Bishop: Santa Claus does not exist
Anyone could take part in it, it was only necessary to register. It cost 12 euros, but for this money an adult participant of the race received a Santa Claus costume (red), and a child under 12 years old - an elf (green). Discounts were provided for families.
According to the organizers, the competitive spirit is important, but still people take part in this race in order to have fun. The 4.5-kilometer route is enough to get a little tired, but not to run out of strength
