Here’s a sunrise image from this morning of Mt Hood, City of Hood River, River of Hood River (haha), and the Sandbar Spit. Supposed to look quite different tomorrow morning with blizzard and ice conditions, right on time for my flight out 😵‍💫

2000-year-old Roman mosaic washed by the waters of the mighty river Euphrates in the ancient city of Zeugma in Turkey.

It was discovered in 2000 in a Roman villa of the ancient city during rescue excavations and it is thought to date from the 1st century CE.

Bantry House (originally called 'Blackrock') was constructed in about 1710 on the South side of Bantry Bay.

It has been owned and occupied by the White family (formerly Earls of Bantry) since the mid-18th century.

Opened to the public since the 1940s the house, estate and gardens are a famous tourist destination in West Cork.

Witnessing the elk in their natural habitat and routine is absolutely awe-inspiring 😍 when I see them, I try to be as sneaky as possible so that I don't disrupt their natural course. They like to walk in a single file line when crossing the river with the bulls keeping a small distance behind the rest of the herd 🥰
