As a black woman this is both shocking but not surprising.

Being the first to do anything is hard enough with all the controversy and people doubting your abilities, Jodie Whittaker as a prime example. Being judge because of your race, gender and all things that you cant control is shocking.

But as a fandom who has a paddy about changes in actors, I'm honestly not surprised

It's weird to think that 2007/8 was my childhood that I cherished and to think behind the lime light there was all sorts of controversy is just 🤯🤯

My heart truly goes out to her.

Christopher Eccleston has revealed he will not be returning to Doctor Who for the 60th Anniversary when Russell T Davies returns as showrunner.

“I left because my relationship with Russell T Davies, Julie Gardner and Phil Collinson completely broke down during the shooting of the first series. I think it’s fair to say… that the first series, nobody knows what they’re doing, and the politics are raging. The shooting of the first series was a nightmare.

I agreed with Russell that I would go, quietly and respectfully, and I would look after the show publicity-wise, in terms of publicizing it. And then, without saying anything to me, they announced that I was leaving. They didn’t tell me they were going to do that. I was walking down the street, and suddenly I got quite a lot of aggression.

More importantly… they created a quote, and they attributed it to me, which said I was tired. I didn’t find it too tiring. I found it too tiring working with Russell, and Phil, and Julia. I didn’t find it physically too tiring. When they said that, any other producer reading that would go ‘Oh, we’re not going to employ Christopher Eccleston because he gets tired’… So they issued a kind of apology, but it’s not enough, so no.”

Just finished watching Netflix hit 'Squid Game' and honestly it is a 10/10 for me.

I know over tha past few days there has been a little controversy over the English dub of the Series, to me that doesnt really make a difference even if it may change the story line a little. Though I am not a Korean linguist so I wouldn't know.

Squid Game is a definite MUST WATCH. I would definitely recommend!!

So, With Weeks to go before our exciting launch, I think its time I should FINALLY introduce myself?

My name is Ellessia J and I am the Founder of Quirky Anomaly and sister channel, Quriky Fangirl.

I am hoping to bring some joy and advice to your lives with my experience and journey through my life with mental illnesses.

Also, as I am a high Sci-fi and fantasy fan and love movies as they are part of my self soothing techniques, I thought why not let the love of fandoms bring joy to you too?
