War Memorial and Archives were super popular spots in the early/mid 90s. It was a constant cat and mouse game with the NCC idiots. Once the Unknown Soldier was laid to rest at WM in late 90s we never went back. ripping these spots and Glebe streets in 1995

Who remembers the Curl-o-Drome skatepark? Summers 1994-95 Claude Regnier with help from Jim Watson set up all his ramps at the beat-up old curling rink on the east side of Lansdowne Park. The building was torn down soon after I shot this in '95 Jason Brault Louis Phillipe, Jay Matte, Graeme Davidson Matt Roy and Alex W/E ripping on a random Saturday.

at the contest in 1996 put on by . I'm pretty sure he won this and a lot of good Ottawa skaters showed up. The guy doing the 1 foot airwalk/Madonna Air? is named Jay I think? made an appearance too.
