Joe Gomez has recently undergone successful surgery to repair a tendon in his left knee. The center-back suffered from the injury in a training session with the England national team on Wednesday.
Fortunately, the issue was isolated to Gomez’s tendon, with no damage to any other associated knee ligaments. The operation that took place in London was a success and the 23-year-old is confirmed to make a full recovery over a course of a few days.
