He earlier worked in a jeweler shop at Bangalore for four years i.e. from 2014 to 2018. Later, he got married and migrated to Hydereabad in the year 2018 and joined as a salesman in Dhanalaxmi jewelers by staying in its adjacent room.
*A-2 SUKHDEVSINGH CHOWHAN :* He belongs to Gudabhopa (V), Marwar junction Taluq, Pali district, Rajasthan State. He along with his family migrated to Hyderabad about two years ago and residing in Khanajiguda, Alwal by eking out his livelihood by means of the driver of trolley auto.
*A-3 MANCHIRAM DEVASI :* He is the elder brother of A-1 Pappuram devasi and belongs to same village. He is eking out his livelihood by means of coolie work.
*A-4 DUDARAM GURJAR :* He also belongs to the same village of A-1 & A-3 and classmate of A-1. In search of livelihood, he migrated to Hyderabad about two years ago and joined as salesman in Padam cosmetics, Begum bazaar, Hyderabad and residing in same locality.
After joining in Dhanalaxmi jeweler shop as salesman, the A-1 Pappuram Devasi got acquainted to the A-2 Sukhdevsingh chowhan who stayed earlier in a room located on the up stair of Dhanalaxmi jewelers on rent. Since they belong to same area, they subsequently became close. In fact, the accused persons are having no previous criminal history. But, since their current earnings became insufficient to lead their life luxurious, they planned to commit theft in Dhanalaxmi jewelers & Pawn brokers. But, due to incompatibility, they could not do it immediately. About five months ago, the A-2 Sukhdevsingh shifted his family from Neredmet to Khanajiguda, Alwal. However, both of them had keep in touch on their mobiles and continued discussing about ex*****on of their plan of committing theft in the above jeweler shop.
Recently, the A-2 Sukhdevsingh went to his native place Rajasthan on his personal work. By that time, the A-1 Pappuram phoned to the A-2 sukhdev Singh and informed him about the availability of nearly (25) tulas of gold and (60 to 70) Kgs of Silver ornaments in the jeweler shop where he works. Further, since they intent to get joined another one for ex*****on of their plan, on the advice of A-1 Pappuram, the A-2 Sukhdevsingh has talked to the Pappuram’s elder brother A-3 Manchiram Devasi and when he explained him their plan, the A-3 also agreed to join with them for earning easy money. At the same time, the A-1 Pappuram also talked to his villager A-4 Dudaram Gurjar who has been working in a cosmetic shop in Begum bazaar, Hyderabad and sought his help in committing theft. Since the A-1 offered to give him share in the stolen property, the A-4 also agreed to join with them. Further, as stated by the A-1 Pappuram, the A-2 Sukhdevsingh and A-3 Manchiram Devasi came to Hyderabad from Rajasthan on 10.06.2020 and met with the A-1 and A-4 and all the accused persons planned to commit theft in Dhanalaxmi jewelers.
The complainant Happuram Seervi daily closes his shop around 8-00 p.m. After closing the shop, on his instructions, his worker A-1 Pappuram Devasi uses to lock the shutter and gives the keys to owner. Since the A-1 has been working with trust, the complainant Happuram Seervi did not suspect him at anyway. Taking that as an advantage, as per their plan, on the night of 10.06.2020 after closing the shop, the A-1 simulated to be locking the shop and gave the keys to his owner without locking it. Then, the owner also casually went away to home without verifying whether the shutter was locked or not.
On the wee-hours i.e. at about 03:00 hours on 11.06.2020, the A-2 Sukhdev Singh along with the A-3 Manchiram Devasi and A-4 Dudaram Gurjar came to Neredmet in his trolley auto bearing no.TS-09-UF-8031, stationed it at some distance to the jeweler shop and phoned to the A-1. Later, the A-1 Pappuram and A-2 Sukhdev Singh have together opened the shutter and went inside the jeweler shop, while the A-3 Manchiram devasi and A-4 Daduram Gurjar were watching the premises. Further, the A-1 & A-2 committed theft of gold and silver ornaments as mentioned above from Dhanalaxmi jewelers by keeping them in plastic bags, apart from collecting the CCTV camera, Disc & Display device and landline phone from the shop. Later, the accused A-2 to A-4 went to the house of A-2 situated at Khanajiguda Alwal along with the stolen property, while the A-1 remained at his room located adjacent to the jeweler shop. While going to the house of A-2, the accused persons threw away the CCTV camera, Disc and Display device and landline phone in a drainage along the road in order to screen the evidence. But, after coming to know that the shop owner has filed a case and the Police is causing detail enquiry, the A-1 too got some fear and went to the house of A-2 Sukhdev Singh, where the remaining accused A-3 Manchiram Devasi and A-4 Dudaram Gurjar also found present. There, all the accused persons planned to get shared the stolen property. But, in the meantime, they were apprehended by the Police party in possession of stolen property.
