This marks our first short documentary release, combining present-day footage with interviews and archival footage for a unique and multifaceted perspective of this small French island.

This color barcode represents the variation of color throughout our short film "AETERNUS".

It has 3 distinct predominant looks: the dark blue look (tinted more towards a dark cyan) that represents Duncan's cold and depressive life and mysterious character in both the present and future; the bar scene look, which has the dark blue look but also a considerable amount of warmer tones, making the bar a place that feels more familiar, pointing out that Duncan is a regular client; the stylized look towards the end of the third act, which is mainly a mixture between blue shadows and very strong pink midtones and highlights, in order to make the scene both shocking and uncomfortable, eventually leading to the initial look, revealing the loop.

Of course, there are a few other looks, like in the prison and the war scene, but they all fall into a similar color spectrum (in order for the film to be consistent), but the brighter and more desaturated color scheme serves its purpose in portraying an environment that takes place in the future (2040).

Overall, the colors played a big role in this short film, creating a more solid and distinguishable 3 act structure.

Synopsis: Duncan Webb, a brilliant scientist, sees his life fall apart as he rushes to finish his life's work: a time machine. As the project draws nearer to completion, Duncan experiences consequences from the past, present and future.
