After his bad-ass and epic introduction in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Sam Wilson is now Captain America.

Not only did Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) give his blessing, but the heroic man of action himself, Steve Rogers (ChrisEvans) wanted this of him.

With that being said, after the success of the Disney+ series, a fourth and yet untitled Captain America film has been greenlit.

No idea when or where this will show up in the schedule of movies to come. Hopefully, Kevin Feige will give us some insights later this month at Comic-Con International.

Anthony Mackie is taking on the lead role and as of today, we have a director attached.

Julius Onah, who directed Netflix's sci-fi horror film, The Cloverfield Paradox, is set to direct Captain America 4.

I think this is a grand idea. Marvel Studios has a pretty good history working with up and coming actors/directors.

Now, I have only seen bits and pieces of The Cloverfield Paradox, but from what I saw there were some quite intense moments followed in unison with good acting.

The film is being written by Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson.

Spellman was the creator of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier series and Musson also worked on the show.

No word yet on a potential storyline or who could perhaps show up in the film.

The legacy of Captain America is very important to the fans. I believe Mackie will do a fantastic job. I throughly enjoyed his performance in the series. Looking forward to seeing the film.

To say I am super excited for this film, would be a huge understatement. I am serious hoping they bring the film my neck of the woods.

This film looks absolutely wonderful. There will be a lot of laughs and great dialogue to boot.

In an interesting turn of events, Will Poulter will be taking on the role of Adam Warlock in the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy sequel.

Rumored to be up for the role, director James Gunn took to social media last night for the casting news.

Here is what he had to say:

"As you guys know I often strike down false rumors, so… um…

Welcome to the Guardians family, Will Poulter. He’s an amazing actor and wonderful guy. See you in a couple weeks. "

If you remember, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 had an end credits easter egg that revealed the character would be appearing at some point in the future.

Poulter has really shown over the years he has pretty good range as an actor. I think he will be a great choice.
