EARLY LIFE (PART 2/4)
Q: When did you start taking rap seriously?
A: When I was 14 I lost my homeboy to the streets. Shot dead right in front of me. That wasn’t the last
time I saw something like that happen either. It was then I felt like I had to do something to get up off
the path I was going down. I knew that I needed to be out here speaking the TRUTH.

Q: What happened after high school?
A: I got locked up for something that happened that I was not guilty for. I didn’t have nothing to do with
what happened and that’s on the real. I spent almost 19 months incarcerated before I cleared my name
and got a not guilty verdict. That was some crazy stuff though, that case was on the news and
everything.

Q: Would you say that being locked up influenced your music?
A: That’s all I had to do when I was in there. Think and write. They were trying to basically give me a
death sentence and I never knew if I would ever be outside of those walls again. I would write what I
was feeling and some of the best stuff I’ve ever wrote never made it out of that place. I’d cypher in
there. I laid down some good lines when I was just with my dudes in there. Some GOOD
Lines I wish I could remember now..

Q: How do you separate yourself from other artists?
A: I separate myself because I ain’t like any of these other n*ggas. I can WRITE songs. I know how to
write music. These n*ggas be faking it till they making it. Artists saying the same sh*t that the other one
is saying just because they think people will buy it. I’m doing this sh*t for real- no bragging, no boasting.
This is what we are doing out here.

Q: What are your thoughts on the state of the current rap game?
A: I feel like the game is f*cked up. We got a dude straight outta jail right now that’s done snitched on
the whole game and be getting all the likes and people still buying his s**t. This n*gga is putting out
music that’s telling the streets that you can snitch and still be cool. That is the topic of the streets- how’s
this dude gonna come outta lock up and be LAUGHING in our faces about snitching on people? Cuz
snitches get… Well, you know.

EARLY LIFE (PART 1/4)

Q: Where you from?
A: Beaufort, South Carolina. It’s a small country town with strong roots. Not a lot going on there, but it is all about the history. Heritage, slavery, and history. We went or Orlando in the year 2000.

Q: First album you ever owned?
A: Tupac. My Daddy was a dope boy and I can remember him rolling up the house in a white Cadillac ALWAYS bumpin’ Tupac. It didn’t matter how young I was, I was rapping right along with the lyrics.

Q: Where you’re from in Beaufort, South Carolina what were your options to plan for a future as a kid?
A: You did anything that you had to do to come up out of there. You either play sports, rap, or sell dope.

Q: How would you describe your music style?
A: USDA steak. RAW. Real. Best s**t you wanna hear. Relatable. I just want you to know that what you living, is what I am living.

Q: What influences your music most?
A: Trials and tribulations through life. Whatever I said- best believe I did that. I saw that. Obstacles I have overcome.
