We’re 8 days into October but I can’t stop thinking about September 🤎

The highest highs, followed by the lowest lows.

We were on 8 different planes, we saw so many people we love, we celebrated career accomplishments, we celebrated love, we celebrated marinas birthday. We laughed, we cried. Desmond made gnocchi. Marina started a new side quest. We had the most incredible nights with old friends and new friends. And then we came home, got sick and have been really struggling to get back to our regular routine. All the feels.

Here’s to a wild September 🤍 we miss it already.

I was scrolling on tiktok and came across a trend from last Christmas where wives & mothers showed their empty stockings, or themselves filling them. It really made me think about the difference between really living with someone and knowing them vs co-existing. I’m thankful I can say I would never experience that, because I have a partner who considers me. A partner who genuinely wants to decorate the tree with me. A partner who really knows me. And yes, the stocking being filled does not have to be physical. Fill your persons cup, their soul. Love them, know them!
