In the summer, this is the Land of the Midnight Sun with a 24-hour daylight lasting for several weeks, which is a great place for Scandinavian winter adventures and summer hiking. Abisko is located about 100 km west of town Kiruna and more than 200 km inside the Arctic Circle in auroral oval, a specific area has more chances to see the Northern Lights.
