It's with heavy hearts that we've decided to step back from streaming for the time being, at least in regular intervals. The PC we've used is crapping out on us and we have neither the time nor funds to invest in making AstroJoe what we want it to be.

With the economy reopening here in the USA, and unemployment benefits most likely ending in the next month, we have to prepare to re-enter the work force.

I love you all, I really do. You've shown me how much fun something as daunting and challenging streaming can be, and I'm definitely not putting this away forever. We've made some genuine friends along the way that have made it that much sweeter.

All funds donated within the "PC Fund Goal" will remain for that purpose, and when we're comfortable financially to add to that, it won't be long before we're ready to build and resume streaming.

I know this page has serious potential and I don't want to give that up. So keep your eyes and ears open! Before you know it we'll be back with bigger and greater things. Again, thank you all so much for everything. See you on the flip side. 🚀🪐

So it looks like we're having connectivity issues on our ISPs side of things. Usually our upload speed is 10mbps+ which is mucho bueno but right now we're getting less than 1mbps.

I was really looking forward to playing through the rest of Link's Awakening today but it doesn't look like that is going to happen. And what's worse that that, tomorrow is the release of The Last of Us 2 and I was looking forward to streaming that.

I'm going to keep on trying to get this to work and if it starts working here soon, I'll start up LoZ tonight. Either way, I'll keep you posted.

ALRIGHTY!! Thank you all SO MUCH for your continued patience.

We figured out the issue with our router! (Faulty extension cord 😅😅😅) Got that situated and we haven't had any more issues with our service.

Was starting to get situated for today's stream when our AC went out... Now it's nice and toasty!! ☠️

Got good and dirty, fixed it up, and now we're waiting for the house to cool off.

Update on our internet situation:

It seems our modem/router may have been damaged at some point. It randomly turns off for no reason. I'm going to continue to investigate but we may have to get a new one.

I'm really looking forward to playing LOZ Link's Awakening, but I don't want to start before we get this situated.

I can't wait to see y'all again, I'm looking forward to getting the ball rolling! Stay tuned for more updates :)

That being said, we were supposed to be starting BioShock Infinite today, but I have confirmed that my capture card has officially crapped out on me, so big sads. Luckily, I have already placed an order with Elgato and I should be receiving our new capture card by Tuesday.

Depending on delivery, we'll most likely resume streaming with Nikki on Wifey Wednesday, so keep your eyes on your notifications!
