Hey everyone, a quick update on this week's episode, or lack thereof.

Basically, this last week was absolute hell on my mental health, not to mention huge laptop issues, culminating in the death of the processor of said laptop today.

Suffice it to say, there won't be an episode this week. I will be back next week.

If you'd like to catch up with me this week, I do also do Twitch streams as the Duke of Voices at twitch.tv/dukeofvoices.

Thank you one and all for your support up to this point. I promise this is just a temporary setback and that I will be back with more in the future.

Cheers,
David

The new episode has launched! This week, I discuss my favorite song from Final Fantasy X-2, Eternity - Memories of Lightwaves, a beautiful piano piece. Take a listen, and let me know what you think!

David discusses a song that plays before the player hits a button other than powering on the system! Eternity - Memories of Lightwaves, composed by Noriko Matsueda and Takahito Eguchi, is the main theme of Final Fantasy X-2. Take a journey back to...

What makes a video game soundtrack good to you? Is it the instruments played? How "epic" it sounds? Does it matter if there's only a few excellent songs, or if the whole soundtrack is just "good"? Let me know in the comments and list some examples!

Hello and welcome to VGMusings! The FB Page about the podcast about video game music. I'm your host, David, and I'm here to welcome you! If you haven't already checked out the podcast, you should! It's available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon, and a few others, and if it's not available on one that you like, lemme know, and I'll try and get it added to that soon!

VGMusings is a passion project of mine where I talk about specific pieces of video game music, analyze each piece as best I can, then give my reasons why I think it does or does not work well, both within the video game as well as on its own. I release a new episode every Sunday.

If this sounds like something you'd enjoy, fantastic! Please like my page and help me grow VGMusings into what I know it can be. I'll do my best to answer questions, listen to suggestions, and make this page as inviting as possible.

Also check out my website at dukeboxnetwork.com/vgmusings for any major updates that aren't posted here.

I currently have four (4) episodes up, so if you haven't already, take a listen, give a rating, share with friends, and sit back and enjoy.

Until next time!

Do you love video game music? Maybe! Duke definitely does. He talked about it with his friends so much, they said, "Duke, you should make a podcast or something about how much you love video game...
