This is the face of U.S.-China relations.

The U.S.-China relationship has a global reach. As the world’s most critical bilateral bond between nations, the relationship between China and the United States shapes the future. And the future deserves a voice.

Founded by students at Stanford University and the University of California, Berkeley, the Journal of Sino-American Affairs was founded to provide emerging leaders with a premier forum to publish on and discuss political, economic, and cultural topics relevant to U.S.-China relations, and by extension global prosperity and security. Since its founding, the Journal of Sino-American Affairs has grown to encompass a diverse, interdisciplinary editorial team from ten top universities around the globe. Reflecting the many dimensions of the U.S.-China relationship, the editorial team features students with backgrounds in business, politics, engineering, and the humanities, and is composed of both undergraduate and graduate students.

As an intercollegiate, international, multidisciplinary publication, our team places a special emphasis on creating a diverse, open forum for serious discussion of the challenges and opportunities present in the China-U.S. relationship. The Journal of Sino-American Affairs is published twice annually, and stands as the premier student platform for dialogue on U.S.-China relations. Learn more about how to publish your work by visiting our website.

The Journal of Sino-American Affairs is sponsored by the Institute of East Asian Studies at the University of California, Berkeley and the Forum for American/Chinese Exchange at Stanford University. Learn how to contribute to the Journal’s mission by emailing our team.
