watched PUNCH-DRUNK LOVE again...i think the first time since opening night. it's funny what you remember of a film and what you don't. looking at it now, with more seasoned filmmaking eyes, is a very different experience. (although it's still wonderful). the interview with Jon Brion on the blu-ray release is very informative!
just watched GREEN ROOM by jeremy saulnier. holy...that was intense! i was still tense after the film ended. needed a drink to help me get to sleep. good to see that he's 3 for 3 in my book (Blue Ruin, True Detective season 3). Patrick Stewart was totally in his character. have you seen Green Room? what are some of the most intense films you've seen?
