This gorgeous Chuck Roast Seasoned with smoked with hickory and lump on and finished in pressure cooker with potatoes carrots and onions!

Boys had a blast hiking Cascade State Park, doing the Lutsen alpine slide, and skipping rocks in Grand Marais Beach… oh and thinking they were tough enough to swim in Lake Superior at 50-60°F😂
I think our overall favorite place was the rocky shoreline of the “Serenity Loft” we rented through Cascade Vacation Rentals from the early morning sunrise coffee/ walks, to the serine sunset and fire on the beach we experienced was absolutely magical and stargazing into the evening! It’s been too long since we’ve been up there and it won’t be that long again!

Axl’s one of a kind… probably the smartest dog I’ve ever owned! He’ll be 2 in late September so glad we got this pup! Totally won the puppy lottery with this one ☝️

14 pounds of Boneless Chuck Roast Smoked on to 160° Finished wrapped on to 201° and monitored with then rested in for a couple hours and all Shredded Up… we made it for our family cabin trip to Gull Lake, MN where it fed 19 of us for a meal!
Has lots of people asking what we had smokin under our Hood yesterday… if you guessed then you were 💯
This shot was internal 160° after smoking approximately 7hr at 225°… we wrapped and transferred to for the 201° finish.
Originally Seasoned with “Prime Time” at the time of wrap added 1pk of .valley dressing and 1 jar peperocini this shredded perfect thanks to and keeping our smoke session right on track…

Some Highlights from yesterday’s Cook:
Finally perfected this recipe for under 4 Hours…
Smoking 7 pounds of Chuck Roast to 160° for about 3 hours on the then throwing beef in the pressure cooker for about 45 mins to get it to 202° for the perfect shred.
Beef Seasoned with Prime Time.
Additional Ingredients:
Water Panvalley ranch seasoning
Banana Pepper

Weekend Ride Highlight… No BBQ but burning some BBQ Calories, yet Hydrating with some Beer 🍺😂
We participated in the Medio (50 miles) Part of the GrandFondo course this year… just couldn’t commit to the 100 miles with a slow start to warm weather here in April.
We had a great group of guys, amazing weather and somehow I was talked into commuting to and from the ride for an extra 25 miles added to the journey… which only meant a final stop on the way home!
Hope you all a great weekend… and the Mom’s enjoyed their Day too!
We hope to get back to some bbq real soon, but felt we needed this break in bbq content… hope you enjoyed us sharing some of our other interest ✌️
