Bongeunsa Temple is a temple with a thousand-year-old history. In 794 BC, during the reign of King Joseong, Bongeunsa was founded by the monk Yeon-hoe. According to historical records, during this period, Korean Buddhism was heavily pressured, so the temple was not focused.
