This Summer, 40 years ago, I fell in love with a thing called Hip Hop. In 1998, I began to celebrate that love by presenting an "old school Hip Hop" radio show, called,The Plastic Attack.
We started out on Dublin's PowerFM, and made our way on to Ireland's national broadcaster, RTÉ Radio.
"The Plastic Attack, radio show. Touching on the Origins of Hip Hop music, and playing the old school Rap classics..."
With zero budget, we took the programme to great heights, with interviews and contributions from the cream of Hip Hop culture. Far exceeding any and all expectations of that 10 year old, spinning on his back, back in 1982.
"All things must pass..."
After 24 years of turning a dream into a reality, its time to put the show out to pasture. There are so many contributors to thank, and you know who you are. Thank you!❤
This Friday, I'll be tapping into the neo-cortex, as I wrap up the programme with personal memories of Irish Hip Hop past. 1982 - 2022.

And here it is folks, the last one from me (Waxer) doing a weekly show. It has been a blast! The past 6 months have whizzed by! You won't be hearing the last from me, E & I just had a chat about what can realistically be achieved and we decided the best thing to keep it going and me still achieve my commitments was to throw it open to some other fantastic selectors!!
