When we interviewed this surfer and talented filmmaker one of the things that stood out was her joy! She is a walking JOY bomb! So of course you would think her life is pretty perfect -OF COURSE SHE’s joyful. What if I told you she suffered a traumatic brain injury that left her in a coma and that when she woke up she was blind with a 20 second memory?
