Last week we mentioned about riders benefitting from sponsorship, but today we want to discuss ensuring companies also benefitting from sponsorship.
Sponsorship is an investment for a company, offering free products or even just discount codes costs a business money. So how can you ensure you get a return on this investment? This is a bit of a lengthy topic so we are going to split it up into different parts!
First and foremost: 📣 sponsored riders are not responsible for driving sales 📣. Their job is to create brand awareness, and then the rest is down to you. One of the biggest things we see companies lack in is how accessible purchasing your product is. If your website is complicated, not up to date, doesn’t accept PayPal/Apple Pay (yes we know!) then you are putting off customers. How many times have you been in bed trying to buy something, they don’t accept PayPal or Apple Pay and your purse/wallet is downstairs and you simply can’t be bothered to get it? That’s a sale lost. Make sure you’re making it easy for your customers to purchase your product! That is something completely out of your sponsored riders control, and could be costing you sales.
Part 2 coming soon… Turn on our post notifications so you don’t miss out on some valuable information that could help your brand.
