what holidays? 😊

people ask me why i seem to work all the time. to me its simple. it only really feels like work when youre not passionate about what youre doing. and everyday is a holiday when you savour the entire process. for me its not jut about results. the journey in itself is already a reward.

ive been passionate about creating long before i had a studio as decently equipped as the one i have now. i remember piecing together some keyboards and karaoke machines borrowed from neighbors and relatives to record my compositions when i was 13. sometimes there would be no space for the gear so they were on my bed and i slept on the floor. my older sister would often bring food to my room cos i simply lost track of time doing music (love you ate!). nothing could stop me.

ive seen this same passion in many artists through the years. and through the years technology has made it even easier for people to create and share their music. if youre an artist and youre reading this i hope this post inspires you to not let anything stand in between you and your craft. if i was able to write songs and hone my skills with primitive equipment, you have no excuse. dont overthink just finish your song record it with whatever you can and share it with the world - NOW! go for it! goodluck! 😊❤️

I wrote the lyrics of this song a few years back and finished it during the first months of ECQs. I produced the music and video all by myself and it's quite the challenge!
