Have you read The Jesus Diet yet?

"I discovered a secret hidden in the stories of Jesus that helped me lose 50 pounds, finally ended my life-long fight with weight loss—and my life, my weight and my health changed forever.

It was the winter of January 2009. I was pregnant with my second child and knew I didn't want to be on another diet while pregnant.

But to be honest it was more than that. In truth, I was just plain tired of obsessing non-stop, every minute of every day, about my weight.

All my life I had struggled with weight and health issues, and now—as I was getting older—the weight was harder and harder to keep off.

And it wasn't like I was some food dummy. I had spent years studying food and nutrition (I have a Bachelors of Science and a Masters of Science in Human Nutrition). I knew EVERYTHING there was to know about the rules of healthy eating.

Through my study of nutrition, I also knew that health is about so much more than weight; yet I kept weight obsessing.

How had it come to this?

I wanted to focus on living, being a good person and a good mother, but so much of my daily joy and life was spent thinking about losing weight.

Something had to change. I was done with doing variations of the same thing over and over but getting the same result!

I decided that I was going to stop all of it—counting calories, obsessing about weight and the countless food rules. I was determined to find a better way.

It was then that I discovered this secret in the stories of Jesus that finally ended my life-long fight with weight loss, and my life—and my weight and my health - changed forever."
