Congratulations to Mitch Giraffe and the CO Crew for winning the final challenge of our phase one programming series. They had an impressive number of votes for their tiebreaker video and dominated the competition ensuring their victory in PHOTO HUNT 11 and their place as champions.

The Network at The End of The World is going off the air for the foreseeable future. We've really enjoyed our time with you and are proud of what tried to accomplish during our short run. The weather is nicer, people are going out more, restrictions are being lifted, and honestly we don't feel great about giving people more reasons to be on social media right now.

Our last event was PHOTO HUNT 11 and ended with two perfect scores. 'CO Crew' and 'Girl Talk' were given a tiebreaker challenge to come up with their own music video for 'The Police - Don't Stand So Close To Me.' Their only guideline was to have their team name in every shot. The winner will be the video with the most likes. Please take a moment to watch their submissions and help crown the final PHOTO HUNT champions.

We've been silent this week in attempt to say less and listen more. What we've heard and strongly believe is that it is no longer acceptable to simply not be racist, but it's time for action. It's necessary to speak up and take a stand against bigotry, police violence, white supremacy, and a government that cares more about the economy than people's lives.

What does that look like for the Channel N.E.W.? We don't know, but we don't feel that it's appropriate right now to proceed the same way we have been. Burner Feud and PHOTO HUNT are on hold while people are protesting and more important events are happening that shouldn't be distracted from.

Instead of our traditional happy hour we're going to open up a Zoom meeting room available tonight at 6 p.m. EDT through Sunday evening as safe space for anyone that needs to a way to connect and chat. The meeting will be available even when we're not there. Our main goals at Channel N.E.W. are to give people distractions: something to look forward to, a way to stay connected, entertainment during these strange and difficult times. We believe our mission is more important than ever, but we also realize that distractions are luxuries many can’t take part in right now because they are hurting too much, because they are protesting, because they are avoiding social media, because they have a city-wide curfew. There are some issues that can’t and shouldn’t be ignored. The injustices and racism happening in the United States need addressing, and if we stay silent then we are part of the problem.

We are postponing PHOTO HUNT 9 in a show of support for everyone in pain, living in fear, standing up and speaking out about the injustices happening. We want to make it clear that we know black lives matter.

The 'Invincible Monkees' have won again and remain champions after PHOTO HUNT 7. Their reign of terror has now reached 6 weeks in a row. Aaron Hurvitz, Noemi Fugasot, George F. Ingalls, and Irwin scored another near-perfect victory earing them [3x Altairian Credits]. This can be exchanged in our brand new Prize Emporium opening later today.
