The Artistic Details of the Rehabilitation of St. Augustine of Hippo Parish Church in Naguilian, La Union

It is first time to see actual church makers for the detailing of the church altar and we are lucky to visit them in St. Augustine of Hippo Parish Church in Naguilian, La Union. Wood carving, gold and silver leaf painting, and other finishing works ang naabutan natin at naipasilip sa atin. The artist for this project came from Cebu and other Parts of Visayas, mga lugar kung saan matatagpuan ang mga sinauna at nanggagandahan simbahan sa Pilipinas. The workshop area is very busy, artists make their crafts na umaabot even 12midnight ang kanilang pagtratrabaho.

St. Augustine of Hippo Parish Church of Naguilian, La Union is something to look up to and visit after its renovation.

If the Sky Island is Real, Baguio City will give you the Feel.

I spend my 3 mornings for Sunrise Chasing and 3 Nights for Astro and City Lights Photography here in a city were we can touch the sky, Baguio City. This terrace where I can see a Panoramic View of the City is the last place to spend my quick side trips of Baguio. Here are some few and substantial insights of this trip. First akala ko malalayo yung mga tourism and key places of the city, yun pala hindi. 25mins na yung pinakamatagal kong biyahe, and syempre it is done using a motorcycle. Second is ngayon lang ulit ako excited na gumising ng madaling araw and without hesitation kahit napakalamig magmotor ng madalaing araw. Third, motorcycle is the best ride in Baguio City, parking wise, gas consumption, and traffic situations, makakarating sa kahit anong lugar na gusto mong puntahan. MOTORCYCLE GIVES YOU THE FREEDOM. Fourth and last is the weather is affected by time. You can shoot a clear mountains minutes before the sunrise, however if you wantt to have a shot with clouds, swertehan nalang yung nakakuha nun.

I really enjoyed taking pictures on unfamiliar places, might do it again soon. Agyaman.

LOAKAN AIRPORT 🛫✈️

It's my first time to visit this humble Airport of Loakan. At their main gate magtataka sa una dahil may mga private na sasakyang tumatawid sa gitna ng mismong runway, and to find our normal lang pala ito dahil sa mga kabahayaan naroroon, kayo ako sinubukan ko na ding pasukin at tawirin ang runway. Napakatahimik ng lugar at nakakarelax pagmasdan ang kapaligiran habang nakakalanghap ng sariwang simoy ng hangin. Ibang iba sa airport na napakabusy at napakaraming lumilipad at naglalanding na eroplano. Sabi nila ito yung isa sa mga pinakachallenging na airport dahil laging maulap kasi halos kalevel na ng ulap ang airport na ito at bukod pa diyan ay isa din ito sa mga may maikling runway dito sa Pilipinas.

Roaming Around Baguio City at Sunrise. Everything is silent, no vehicles around the city, sun rays producing majestic illumination, and a freezing cold experience while driving a motorcycle. Most photos are taken from San Carlos Height, Grotto, and Mirador Hill Peace Memorial. In Mirador there we can see the River at Aringay, La Union.

The 6am View of La Union from Baguio 🥶

Finally after a year that we've visited this place na wala tayong picture na nakuha dahil maulap at maulan. Today we woke up at 5am and felt the chills of Baguio City while riding a motorcycle just to capture these photos. This Spot in Irisan is my favorite one, where I can see parts of La Union from Aringay up to City of San Fernando. We have a clear sky kaya kitang kita natin in details sa malayuan ang La Union mula dito sa Baguio 🤍🤍🤍

Unexpected Crescent Scene in Baguio 🌙

While traveling papuntang town proper, I turned in the wrong way while following google map, yeah I know hahaha shunga tayo sa part nayun, eh sa nakakalito yung daan at di naman tayo taga Baguio City. So after taking the wrong way, I saw this mountain of lighted houses leading straight sa daan, then when I looked up and see it in detail meron palang crescent moon descending behind the mountain of houses. So I parked then grab my camera to shoot. I wasn't expecting this and it's really a rare phenomenon, perfect timing, I was in the right place at the right time. Grabe can't believe this dream shot.

The experience was a whole day Master Course learning from the Creator Speakers that we have specially on the topics about online communication. The Masalip Dam along Ifugao River of Tubao, La Union

In my visit, this dam not only served as a water structure along the area. It is also a source of food for the fishermen and for swallows that fly near the falling water. Some residents use the dam to cross the river using their motorcycles or through walking. To have an idea, I tried walking on the dam, on its concrete pavement under the water, there I found out that the concrete is covered with moss and mud, making the pathway slippery. Next time that I will visit here, with the fresh and cold water flowing along the dam, I'll make sure to bring extra clothes to enjoy the water and enjoy the view of the mountains.

A Peaceful Cafe in Tubao, La Union - MIXED

For me it's my first time to sip coffee in Tubao and enjoy a slice pizza. This is because the humble town of Tubao has few options for this. After venturing below the Masalip Dam we've decided to take a quick rest and it brought us here in Mixed. Akala ko it's just a simple Cafe which offers more ng milktea, but I was wrong. I really enjoyed the bitter sweet taste of my coffee and the meaty and cheesy taste of their pizza.
So if it happens that you visit Southern La Union, do stop and try Mixed Destination Cafe.

Gusto makilala sa kung anong ginagawa natin for the community lalong lalo dito sa aming probinsyang La Union.
