i have been hosting a lot of mediumship practice circles, and facilitating practice sitters for my mentees.
so let’s talk about being a sitter for a practicing medium and some tips!
✨ you are not just a body to sit and receive a reading, your biggest gift and the exchange for that practicing reading is your feedback! 🫶🏼
when we say feedback is a great gift, what does that mean?
✨ what did you like about the reading?
✨ what was your favourite and least favourite part?
✨ how was the flow of the reading?
✨ how can they they improve?
✨ how did the information land? what makes sense? what didn’t make sense?
example - the fact that they mentioned grandma’s hat was important to you, share WHY that is important at the end of the session. do this for every single piece of evidence that made sense for you so the medium can learn for it
✨ avoid saying no! this can be a shot to the heart for a new developing medium
✨did you like how they set the reading up, with a link, instructions, etc?
✨ nod, smile, open up your energy to allow the reader in
✨ call in your loved ones, ask them to show up!
your feedback is SO valuable and the exchange for your free reading, so think about feedback as your payment, and be generous with it!
remember: a practicing medium is not someone you are testing. if you want to test someone, go pay the professionals and be stoned face! while we are learning, there is a lot more ease to a practice session
🌟 if you are a developing medium: it is your job to prep your sitter!! share this post with them so they know what you expect for feedback

let’s talk about ✨need✨
in mediumship when practicing
it is much easier to do a mediumship reading for someone who has a NEED.
ex. someone recently passed, they have never connected to this person, they need to hear from someone, they want a message from someone.
sometimes, in practice groups, we are practicing 2-3 a week… which means grandma is showing up 2-3 time a week… with not much to say
while these practice sessions are still great, i highly recommend trying to find practice sitters with a NEED to make your job a little easier… especially at the start of your practice mediumship journey, it will give you more confidence and be easier to get messages✨

“it’s like a hard thing i have been working on saying. that i am psychic so that my brain 🧠 remembers that i am psychic, so that i trust when i get psychic information like this…”
this quote is from my latest podcast episode 252 where i received psychic information but “thought i was crazy” (yes, it still happens to the best of us!)
i say things out loud so my ears hear it, so my brain hears it. i am getting more comfortable saying the words “i am psychic” so i trust when i get information like what i shared in ep. 252.
when i first started the podcast, i couldn’t even say the work medium out loud 😂 yes, i had a podcast called medium in the middle and i couldn’t say the word medium… we all start somewhere!
today’s tip: SAY THINGS OUT LOUD 🗣️
in your head does not work, journaling does not work, your EARS need to hear

my march 8 & 9 reiki course will be my 100th virtual reiki course 🥹
i started teaching reiki online in september 2020, and since then i have taught a virtual reiki level one AND a reiki level two course every single month.
so i am starting to celebrate ✨ course 100 ✨ with some of my beautiful reiki courses reviews!!
thank you thank you for every single beautiful review you send me, or leave me on google 🌟
one day i will sit down and count ALL the reiki courses i have taught, but for now we are celebrating 100 VIRTUAL reiki level one’s and two’s 🖥️
i am so happy to spend my weekends with you teaching you reiki 🫶🏼✨

for all those invested… i cleared my house today! and i put out all my crystals in every room/all over the place 🏠 (and i hung these on the wall today!)
may the juice dropping, weird noises, light flickering, spirits in my closet, archie barking at nothing stop now 😅 equilibrium has been restored and hopefully i have no more updates for y’all.

on today’s episode of: i need to clear my house 😅
if you have not been along for this journey, i got my new house just over a month ago and i did not clear it, so of course weird things have been happening.
BUT THIS was the final straw!!! this was two days after i dropped a windex bottle and it did the exact same thing on my brand new rug.
then i got this DM after teaching reiki level two 😅 enough is enough!
it is time to clear!
