Since many of you may be working at home because of Covid-19 😷 I thought I'd take a few minutes to share the tools I'm loving that have really kept me focused and productive while working online! 💻
Let's get right to it:
📌 Loom
Loom is a screen and video recording software that allows you to record both yourself and your screen at the same time. (There's also the option to do one or the other). This is a perfect tool for teachers 🍎 who are currently doing online classes and need to explain anything they are showing on their computer. It's also a great tool for businesses to train their employees remotely and ridiculously easy to use!
To set up, go to www.loom.com, set up an account, hit record and you're off and running!
📌 Asana
Organize and plan workflows, communicate with co-workers assign tasks and collaborate on projects with Asana.com.
This is an effective tool when you are working with multiple clients and a great way to keep track of upcoming deadlines.
📌 Toggl
For any hourly workers out there: I absolutely hate keeping track of hours, but Toggl takes any guesswork out of time tracking and keeps me uber-focused on whatever task I'm working on.
Simply set up your account at toggl.com, add in your projects or organize by client, and click the button to start tracking your time. ⏰ Keep yourself even more on task by installing the chrome extension, where you can easily see that red "on" button.
One of the best things I love is that it integrates with Asana and other project management applications so when you're grabbing assignments, the Toggl button is right there to remind you to begin your time tracking. Toggl.com
🦊I hope these tools help you in your online working endeavors! Stay healthy and wash those hands! 🧼
