On Friday we were a sponsor for M+DEV, a Midwest gamedev conference; where we got to meet so many talented game makers, industry members, and students.

The event featured keynotes from Ryan Burnett of Respawn Entertainment and Midwest Games CEO Ben Kvalo. The endnote was given by Caryn Vainio of Liminal Experiences, Inc.

Our partners from Gylee Games were also in attendance with Chris Bergman giving a talk on starting a studio in the Midwest. Lastly, special thanks go to Arthur Low, Tim Gerritsen, and Jennifer Javornik as well!

M+DEV showcased that the talent and opportunity to make great games is already right here in the Midwest and will only continue to grow!

Wisconsin's presence in the video games industry is continuing to grow quickly!

This week, there is a panel discussion and fantastic learning opportunity happening on November 8th at 8:30AM at the Monona Terrace in Madison!

Midwest Games CEO, Ben Kvalo will join industry veterans and leaders, Brian Raffel of Raven Software, and Tim Gerritsen of Lost Boys Interactive, in a roundtable discussion about the games industry.
