OK FOLKS I JUST DID A 85TH BIRTHDAY PARTY AT A LOCAL TAVERN HERE IN TOWN. THE MUSIC THEME WAS OLD SCHOOL COUNTRY MUSIC AND A LITTLE BIT OF 50'S DOO W*P MUSIC. WELL I GET THERE AND SET UP AND ONCE THE PARTY STARTED AFTER A VERY SLOW START, THE CROWD HELPED ME IN SINGING HAPPY BIRTHDAY.THEN I PLAYED A CERTAIN OLDIE AND HAD EVERYBODY ON THE DANCE FLOOR. NEXT THING I KNOW IM PLAYING CHA CHA SLIDE AND CASPER SLIDE AND EVERYBODY WAS ON THE FLOOR, YOUNG, OLD MALE, FEMALE, EVERYBODY HAD A ROCKING TIME.
I HAD A GENTLEMAN SAY TO ME,MAN I HAVEN'T HERD THESE SONGS SINCE I WAS A TEENAGER, HE WAS IN HIS 70'S. YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN THE SMILE ON MY FACE. MAN WHAT A GREAT THING TO HEAR.SO, ITS GETTING CLOSE TO TIME TO END THIS PARTY, AND THE LADY WHO HIRED ME ASKED ME TO PLAY A EXTRA HALF HOUR, AND SHE WOULD PAY EXTRA.....YOU KNOW I SAID YES, 2 HOURS LATER I FINALY PLAYED THE LAST SONG AND CALLED IT A NIGHT
IT MAKE ME FEEL SO GOOD TO BE A DJ WHEN YOU GET PEOPLE THAT LOVE WHAT AND HOW YOU SPIN MUSIC. THAT WHY I AM DJ SIR SMOOTH
