Downtown Yuma On a Mitch & Kris Adventure day 🤩 We headed into Yuma Crossing National Heritage Area got to see the Ocean To Ocean Bridge Pivot Point Interpretative Plaza the National Historic landmark preserves the concrete in Pivot, on which the original swinging span bridge pivoted to allow steam ships to pass on the river, which before the dams were built the water was diverted to Los Angeles, Phoenix, and Las Vegas came up to the level land of the plaza. Dottie Mae and I took a little adventure up to the Laughlin Bridge Heritage Trail it’s breathtaking……….. we followed the horseshoe Trail. The lookout point over the Dam is a great spot to sit and meditate. Have a little snack get a little water. The Riverwalk is also a great little journey.
