White Dew 白露

White Dew, the fifteenth of the twenty-four Chinese solar terms.

"White Dew" is an important festival that reflects the situation of getting colder. As the weather gradually turns cooler, the sun is still hot during the day, but the temperature drops quickly after the evening, with a large temperature difference between day and night.

The End of Heat 处暑 (Chùshǔ) is the fourteenth solar term in the Chinese Traditional Agricultural Calendar.

The End of Heat serves as a reminder that the summer heat is fading and colder, shorter days are drawing near. The End of Heat also serves as a warning to avoid "Autumn Dryness", which is believed by Chinese traditional medicine to cause discomfort to the eyes, skin and organs.
