If you are planning on using public transportation, buses are the cheapest and easiest way to get to the camps. From the Kraków MDA main bus station, you can catch a local bus in the direction of Oswiecim and get off at the stop called "Oswiecim Muzeum." This is right at the entrance of the Auschwitz Museum.

Inveraray makes a good base for tours of both the southern and western sections of the Scottish Highlands. Situated on the banks of Loch Fyne and surrounded by wooded hillsides, the town was the setting for several novels by Sir Walter Scott, as well as stories by Robert Louis Stevenson, and works by local poet Neil Munro. The principal attraction is Inveraray Castle, the seat of the Dukes of Argyll, and a star of Downton Abbey.
