The Yak out and about at the Ballarat Begonia Festival (City of Ballarat) today until the Ballarat Council ‘yak marched’ me out for giving out ‘unsanitised lollies’ including Minties (Nestlé), fantails (Allen's Lollies), lollipops and mentos (Mentos) all of which were wrapped. So the yak is sorry to the 250 children and parents that took photos and were having a great time …… PC gone completely mad.

Well thank god that is almost over. That is 40 days I’ll never get back. How about the next time an election is called is 10 days maximum. Why oh why do we need 40 days of nothing …… oh sorry billion here, billion there, billion for you ……. la, la, la, la. $10 million to build a sports stadium that if you or me was building it, it would cost $4 million tops. Really it probably is that most people are voting for the person they dislike the least.

Well the Yak has been struck down by Covid the last few days but is not doing as badly as the PM. He has had a real shocker this week and will need to come up with some magic to pull this around …… the glass is very much half empty right now for the Libs.

Well there was not really a winner from the ‘Great Debate’ last night, BUT there was a loser ……. channel 9 and Sarah Abo. 9 had talked it up for the past 7 days and told people that they could vote using a QR code, but then forgot to charge the batteries. And Abo, well she just looked way way out of her depth.

Well a big big big boost for the Opposition with today's 5.1 per cent annual inflation reading. Not all the Governments doing but they are in charge. Libs down 7, Labor up 7.

Day 16 and really it has been a nil all draw so far. The Libs are still holding a lead and Labor can't make up the ground. And as for the Australian Financial Review's poll and The Australian's Newspoll, really they are not close ..... the Yak knows though !!!
