Amitabh Bachchan said - At the height of my acting career, when everyone seemed to know my name, I once took a flight that taught me something very important. I was sitting next to an elderly gentleman who looked calm and simple. He wore plain clothes and was quietly reading his newspaper, not paying any attention to me.
The other passengers were stealing glances at me, whispering my name, but this man seemed like he didn’t know or care who I was.
I was curious. So, I smiled at him and said, "Hello." He smiled back, very politely, and said, "Hello." He then went back to reading his paper.
To start a conversation, I asked him, "Do you watch movies?"
The man thought for a moment and replied, "Not many. I saw one long ago."
I smiled and said, "I work in the film industry."
He nodded and asked, "Oh, what do you do?"
Now, I was a little surprised that he didn’t know. So, I told him, "I’m an actor."
The man smiled and said, "That’s wonderful!" Then he went back to reading his newspaper again.
When the plane landed, I reached out my hand and said, "It was nice traveling with you. By the way, my name is Amitabh Bachchan."
He shook my hand, smiled kindly, and said, "Nice to meet you. I’m J. R. D. Tata."
I was stunned! I had just spent the whole flight sitting next to one of the greatest businessmen of India, the chairman of the Tata Group. Here was a man who had built so many great things, and yet, he was so simple and humble.
That day, I learned an important lesson: No matter how famous or big you think you are, there will always be someone greater. And the greatest people are often the ones who are the most humble.

Be humble, it costs nothing!
