Two iconic drummers are joining the "This Is Spinal Tap" sequel cast. Some amazing cameos already announced: Elton John, Paul McCartney, Questlove, Trisha Yearwood, Garth Brooks and now, MusicPlanetRadio.com hears that Metallica's Lars Ulrich and Red Hot Chili Peppers' Chad Smith will appear. Both guys just happen to be drummers, and fans of the original mockumentary film know that Spinal Tap drummers don't tend to fare well.

Spinal Tap II, now filming in New Orleans, will see original cast and crew reuniting in their iconic roles: Christopher Guest (Nigel Tufnel), Michael McKean (David St. Hubbins) and Harry Shearer (Derek Smalls). Release date announced soon.
