Happy to be home, but not gonna lie.....this is taking all my strength to do what I normally do...which is to work like a horse and shove it down.

But this is too important.

I want to be around, to do more.

Rest and working on diet today. Surprised by the things I can't eat right now. Just starting with grapes, beef sausage, and gouda cheese. And of course, LOTS AND LOTS of Water.

For those who have reached out on ways to help - casseroles or dinners for the house. That will relieve some stress. Apparently leafy greens are limited right now (Vitamin K).

The 25th of August always rolls around and reminds me to take a moment to remember those that left a mark on my life. Vince Johnson was a mentor to me. He didn’t put up with anyone’s sh*t and didn’t back down from something he wanted. Many have stories. I have mine. Named an award after him because of it. I miss you, Vince. ❤️

You never know what opening yourself up to opportunity will bring you.

I got a request to meet on Zoom with a lovely lady who is part of the Darren Hardy morning post I receive every morning. Usually, I would deny requests for business people I don't know because I don't want an initial meeting to be a moment of being sold something.

While the discussion turned to business, I appreciated the moments shared - what drives us, what resources we turned to, and the connections that have made a difference in our lives. But most importantly, the similarities between two people meeting for the first time.

Moments. That's all we have. I'm open to more moments because you never know where those moments will lead. One act of kindness can make a difference in someone's life. One opportunity to be available could save a life.

A recent TikTok talked about not giving what is in your cup away to everyone. Instead, keep filling your cup and give others the overflow. I will continue to work on this while keeping my eyes open to opportunities that come my way.

When we spend so much time in a situation trying to make it work or help someone, only to realize that it's beyond your assistance, it's easy to feel regret or disappointed in wasted time.

Every moment we choose to give time to another person is a moment we let go and decide to experience what that might bring. Instead of disappointment, I will look at what the experience brought me. It allowed me to open myself up to someone and believe in love again. To have hope again.

Going to work on not losing what was gained.

Teresa Robinson is a strong example that a mother of three can make something happen in the business world.
She started her LLC, Graphicbliss, in 2000. It handles three businesses:

The Bliss Effect works with businesses and individuals to develop their brand, allowing their message to come across. This brand and entertainment management company provides its clients with graphic and web design, social media, marketing, and advertising.

PRIDE and Equality Magazine has become a staple in New Mexico, presented every year during Pride Month in June.

New Mexico Entertainment Magazine is a statewide event and entertainment publication. It focuses on film, theater, music, food, monthly events, and entertainment in New Mexico. The magazines created annual events, including New Mexico Entertainment Movie Nights, The Ghouls on Parade Halloween Festival and Parade, Big Gay Movie Night, The Trés Chic Hair Competition, and The Rocky Horror Anniversary Show at The Guild Cinema.

Tenacity continues to drive her. She is moving into television, theater, podcasts, and awards shows. She will continue to be a driving force for quality events and entertainment in New Mexico.
