Eclectic music on WMFO 91.5 FM
Page created April 2020, now finally on air in September 2021. Covid is still with us but we are now able to do live shows. I am on Friday evenings from 6pm-7pm. I purposely gave up my legacy shows Celtic Dusk and Between the Worlds back in the summer of 2020. Since we had more than 80 freshmen want to be on the air, it was time for a new show. Training is finished and I will be featuring Seven Times Salt and mentioning Mike Block on my next show October 15, 2021.

Cafe M**O is going live (no really!) this Friday after nearly two years of gestation. I will be on the radio as close to 6pm as I can make it this Friday October 1. I can't do Sophie's Everything's Closed since that time has passed but I will be hyping Ginger Ibex's show at the Lilypad on October 2 and paying tribute to Morgan Huke and Hank Faunce (2 legends at WMFO).

I am still hoping to take an hour show live over WMFO's signal. The Delta variant is clearly showing the necessity for vaccines and the failure of lockdown as a strategy. Harvard, MIT, etc. have already said masks plus vax if you want to come in person. Waiting on word from Tufts...

Tufts has students back in the hood. I will see about a 1 hour remote broadcast at an unpopular time in the WMFO schedule once the census job wraps up which I'm hoping will be the end of August but has to gasp its last by the end of September. In the meantime, follow your favorite musicians local or not, and I am amassing a ton of new music which I hope to share RSN.
I had hoped to do a one-hour podcast but the necessity of acquiring filthy lucre has laid waste my plans, folks. Stay tuned for sometime in October. AND REMEMBER TO VOTE.

Since it is nearly impossible to produce a local radio podcast stay tuned for the revamped shows at WMFO which the gods willing and the creeks don't rise, should air on 5/22. In the meantime, chk out Caralie on Somerville's couch fest, Sophie Crafts doing Everything's Closed, Zoe Lewis covering Everything's Closed down in P-town this last week, with the cigarette girl providing technical assistance and special guest (in numerous disguises) appearing outside Zoe's window with a handy mic and stand already set up for proper social distancing.

Okay - Facebook is muting almost every track we post, even ones for which we have the personal permission of the artist because there's no way to tell them that. This experiment needs to go in a different direction...
