So... you are about run a Facebook ad thinking "this looks awesome!.."
You press "RUN" campaign.
You start getting EXCITED by what you are about to see and things look promising...
The ad is active and running.
After a few hours, you come back and see how's it doing.
You tell yourself "so far, so good but I can improve it".
You try playing around with the interests, location, and even some of the text of the ad copy. You think it's good and you let it run for 24hrs.
The next day and you decided to do a split test with different audiences and even different graphics.
The ad runs for another 24hrs until you see one that has a lower CPC (or CPA, depending on what you are looking to do). You found a winner.
Out of nowhere, you get a message on FB ads Manager telling you, you've been restricted from creating new ads and you have no clue why...
That was me.
It was when there was a trend of creating a passive income by writing and selling ebooks on Amazon Kindle.
In my case, I targeted the Intermittent Fasting Niche which was (and still is) my jam.
I got banned 1st of all, I think, cuz of my "newbieness" 😅 (let's be fair)... and also because I probably said/wrote something that FB Compliance didn't like.
To understand the science of running online ads, I spoke to John Horn.
John is the CEO of Stub Group, which is a digital advertising agency and a premier Google Ads Partner.
We dived into various topics like:
How to spend money more effectively
Strategies for staying out of Google & Facebook "Jail" in a constantly changing environment;
Pay-per-click advertising;
Some of the biggest mistakes companies make when looking to hire an Advertising Marketing Agency (they might not be what you think)
And much more.
