Some feedback from a Sydney online listener to our Breeze: 🙂

WSFM has about 100 songs total on high rotation and it becomes nauseating to listen to. Smooth much the same, and while 2UE has great breadth in its playlist, it lacks the flexibility that The Breeze has with its song selection. I absolutely love that you guys don’t play by the rules, I can hear a Mamas and Papas song, followed by a new release by Ed Sheeran. Or Dire Straits then Shania Twain. Part of the joy is never knowing what’s coming next. The 9 at 9 and monthly photo competitions are examples of the playfulness and novelty your station has, that sets you apart from others.
As a side note, I don’t know who actually chooses the music at your station but I think they have a really unique talent - I hope you’ll pass that onto them in case they don’t already know it ha ha.
The Breeze really does punch above its weight - the love and care genuinely shows. I generally have a lot to say about what a radio station can do better but in this case I cannot flaw you guys! Just to say keep up the facts about songs, the history behind artists, the little tidbits between songs are just so great.
Your on air team are a pleasure to listen to.
