The black market for parts of the human body is booming in the Middle East. A kidney now costs 262,000 dollars (131 million CFA francs); the heart costs 119,000 dollars (60 million CFA francs) and the liver costs 157,000 dollars (79 million CFA francs).
Beware of fake foreign agencies promising to make you work abroad. They process your papers, pay your plane ticket and just take you abroad pretending they want to find you a job, but instead, they kill their victims, recover all the precious parts of their bodies.
Many people have been offered jobs the Middle East and so far their families nave been unable to locate them. SHARE TO SAVE LIVES

Africa has a rich and diverse history that spans thousands of years. Here are some key points about the history of Africa:

1. Early Civilizations: Africa is known for its ancient civilizations, such as the Egyptian civilization along the Nile River, which flourished around 3100 BCE. Other notable ancient African civilizations include the Kingdom of Kush, the Carthaginian Empire, and the Axumite Empire.

2. Trans-Saharan Trade: From around the 8th century CE, the trans-Saharan trade routes facilitated the exchange of goods, ideas, and cultures across North Africa, West Africa, and the Mediterranean. Gold, salt, and enslaved individuals were among the commodities traded.

3. European Colonization: The 19th century marked the onset of European colonization in Africa. European powers, including Britain, France, Belgium, Portugal, Germany, and Italy, established colonies and exploited the continent's resources.

4. Scramble for Africa: The late 19th century saw the "Scramble for Africa," during which European powers partitioned Africa among themselves through diplomatic negotiations and territorial conquests. This process led to the colonization of the majority of African territories by European powers.

5. Independence Movements: Following World War II, Africa witnessed a surge in independence movements as African nations sought to reclaim their autonomy. Ghana became the first sub-Saharan African country to gain independence from colonial rule in 1957, inspiring other African nations to follow suit.

6. Apartheid in South Africa: Apartheid, a system of racial segregation and discrimination, was implemented in South Africa from 1948 to 1994. It was a policy enforced by the white minority government, leading to widespread protests and international condemnation. Nelson Mandela played a crucial role in ending apartheid and became South Africa's first black president in 1994.

7. Post-Colonial Challenges: After gaining independence, many African nations faced challenges such as political instability, ethnic conflicts, economic disparities, and issues related to governance and development. However, the continent has also experienced significant progress in various fields over recent decades.

Soooo you mean to tell me that someone down your ancestry line survived being chained to other human bodies for several months in the bottom of a disease-infested ship during the Middle Passage, lost their language, customs and traditions, picked up the English language as best they could while working free of charge from sun up to sun down as they watched babies sold from out of their arms and women r***d by ruthless slave owners.

Took names with no last names, no birth certificates, no heritage of any kind, braved the Underground Railroad, survived the Civil War to enter into sharecropping... Learned to read and write out of sheer will and determination, faced the burning crosses of the K*K, everted their eyes at the black bodies swinging from ropes hung on trees...

Fought in World Wars as soldiers only to return to America as boys, marched in Birmingham, hosed in Selma, jailed in Wilmington, assassinated in Memphis, segregated in the South, ghettoed in the North, ignored in history books, stereotyped in Hollywood...

and in spite of it all, someone in your family line endured every era to make sure you would get here, but you receive one rejection, face one obstacle, lose one friend, get overlooked, and you want to quit?

How dare you entertain the very thought of quitting. People, you will never know survived from generation to generation so you could succeed. Don’t you dare let them down!

It is NOT in our DNA to quit!

Thomas Fuller, an African sold into slavery in 1724 at the age of 14, was sometimes known as the “Virginia Calculator” for his extraordinary ability to solve complex math problems in his head. He was asked how many seconds there were in a year and a half, he answered in about two minutes, 47,304,000. Again he was asked how many seconds a man has lived who is 70 years, 17 days and 12 hours old, he answered in a minute and a half 2,210,500,800.
One of the men was working out the problems on paper, and informed Fuller that he was wrong, because the answer was much smaller. Fuller hastily replied, "'Top, massa, you forget de leap year." When the leap year was added in, the sums matched.

After spending four days trapped in a well, rescuers finally pulled five-year-old Rayan from where he had been stuck, but unfortunately the boy did not survive, says Morocco's King Mohamed VI.

fell down the 100-foot well while his father was repairing it earlier this week.

Early on, rescuers were able to send a camera to the trapped boy who was active but seemed to be injured. The photo shows Rayan while he was still alive. The teams were able to send down a radio, water, food, and oxygen, but it was unclear if the boy was able to eat or drink. It is still unclear what caused his death.

Moroccans, along with much of the world have been glued to their screens watching the rescue efforts live on television. The conditions around the well complicated the rescue efforts, as signs of a cave-in were eminent.

Moroccan rescuers are entering the final stages of their operation to reach a five-year-old boy stuck in a deep well. Rayan fell 104ft (32m) through the well’s narrow opening four days ago, while he was out with his father who was repairing it. Rescuers say they have now reached an access tunnel less than a meter from the boy but they are unsure if he is still alive. A camera lowered into the well on Thursday showed him conscious but he appeared to have some minor head injuries. Rescuers lowered food, water and oxygen into the well but it is unclear if he has used the supplies.

The lady circled in the photo was Lucy Higgs Nichols. She was born into slavery in Tennessee, but during the Civil War she managed to escape and found her way to 23rd Indiana Infantry Regiment which was encamped nearby. She stayed with the regiment and worked as a nurse throughout the war.
After the war, she moved north with the regiment and settled in Indiana, where she found work with some of the veterans of the 23rd.
She applied for a pension after Congress passed the Army Nurses Pension Act of 1892 which allowed Civil War nurses to draw pensions for their service. The War Department had no record of her, so her pension was denied. Fifty-five surviving veterans of the 23rd petitioned Congress for the pension they felt she had rightfully earned, and it was granted.
The photograph shows Nichols and other veterans of the Indiana regiment at a reunion in 1898. Beloved by the troops who referred to her as “Aunt Lucy,” Nichols was the only woman to receive an honorary induction into the Grand Army of the Republic, and she was buried in an unmarked grave in New Albany with full military honors in 1915.
