On this day in 1955 an all white jury in mississippi acquitted j.w milam and Roy bryant in murdering emitt till. It took them 67 minutes and the jury said the only reason why I took so long is because they had to stop and get sodas.

Then Carolyn bryant lived a full life and on her death bed (86 yrs old) admitted she lied. He had not used the word ma'am after he said goodbye and that's what bothered her.

The cop “checked his pulse” with his thumb. 🤬 They mocked the amount of oxygen it took for him to say “I can’t breath” I’m so glad cops understand oxygen saturation (heavy sarcasm).
