One of the strongest storms to ever impact Louisiana, Hurricane Ida blasted into the state on the 16th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. When Hurricane Ida hit land, its gusts were as high as 150 mph, and it has already left a path of devastation and about 1 million people without power.
