On Wed, 20th of 2020 at 2 pm what started as a small crowd of protesters quickly escalated to thousands as nigerians from all over New York City flooding the streets in protest known as movement.

The slogan calls for an end to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), a controversial unit of the Nigerian Police Force with a long record of abuses. Sadly this unit of officers has turned on the people they were meant to protect.

Backed by Nigeria’s corrupt governing structure; they openly commit acts of kidnapping, theft, murder, r**e, torture, extortion, unlawful detention & arrests all in the name of robbery prevention. This is why we march. This is where we stand.
